The highly anticipated "This Girl" music video from Dancehall recording artist / producer Leftside. The new video which was directed by Chris "Icey Jace" Campbell features Choreography from Matthew Hann and Leanne Talbot alongside the production team of Zandanta "The One" Higgins as Production Manager, Kym (MakeUp), Christina Benjamin as onset Stylist and Cuban model Jessica Diaz who plays the lead role of a seductive hotel guest who later introduces her friend Madelaine Leiva to the mix.

Caribbean Lifestyle Media: Leftside was not caught rolling up weed, dirty minds...:)  However, he was caugh rolling up to his latest video with the Icey Jace Film Factory.   The song is a remix of US based rapper Wiz Khalifa's "roll up" hit single.

Chris "Icey Jace" Campbell told us the the video was shot on location at a Stoney Hill residence and is expected to further propel the remix into the international market.  We look forward to seeing this new video. Get other Leftside hits here: Leftside & Esco  

BUZz: CARI VIBEZ WINNERS PRESENTED WITH AWARDS

After close to 2 months of patiently awaiting their reward the winners of the 2nd Annual Cari Vibez Video Web Awards were finally presented with their crystal globe towers last Saturday evening at a small ceremony held on the grounds of Stanley & Empress Boutique.

The presentations were carried out by members of AXE Media and D Events who assisted the New York based Cari Vibez TV with organizing the Jamaican Leg of the award distribution.

Amongst the winners in attendance were International Male Dancer Of The Year Chad “Global Bob” Torrington who also took the title in 2010 followed by Collab Video Of The Year winners Mackie Conscious alongside Taddy P for their "Leave The Crumbs Alone" music video directed by Road Block Films and finally Director Avant-Garde winner Chris "Icey Jace" Campbell who edged out last years winner Jay Will by some 40 votes. Campbell shot a host of videos in 2010 including QQ & Chedda "Cleanest", Ishawna "Legendary" and the chart topping Want Yuh Body Remix video from Leftside and fast rising female deejay Mystic.

Other winners at this years Cari Vibez Awards include I Eye who won the Breakout Video Of The Year category, Lady Saw for Female Video Of The Year, I Octane for Male Video Of The Year, Stephen “Di Genius” McGregor for Producer Of The Year, Kim LaQueen for Female Dancer Of The Year, Alborosie for International Video Of The Year and Drastic Sugary Waistline for Soca Video Of The Year. The beautiful Crystal Globe Tower weights in at approximately 5lb’s and is 9 inches in height, 2.5 inches in width and 2 inches in diameter.

When the polls of the 2nd Annual 2011 Cari Vibez Video Web Award closed last Friday night, music video director Chris "Icey Jace" Campbell was amongst 10 individuals who came out victories after a well contested month of voting. Campbell who won by some 40 votes ahead of 2010 winner Jay Will last year took the market by storm directing a host of videos including the much talked about Leftside & Mystic "Want Yuh Body Remix", Ishawna "Legendary", Chedda & QQ "Cleanest" and Trawma with "Send Me Some Success".

Campbell who founder the video production company "Icey Jace Film Factory" described the win as a blessing. "Well right now I feel honored in accepting this as my very 1st award since I started shooting videos 2 years ago. I work hard so I take nothing for granted and this is something I got from my mother, looking back 2010 was an awesome year I shot my very first video in June for a New Jersey based dancehall artist called Conflict and from then things began falling into place".  

Having directed a total of 8 music video last year Campbell explained that Icey Jace Film Factory is now focused on quality and not so much quantity. "Last year the company which I run alongside my partner Renesa "Lola B" Wright did well overall, Ishawna's video was in the top 5 of the RETV MVP Video Countdown and Leftside's video debuted at #1 on the Cari Vibez Top 10 video Chart so the emphasis is now on showcasing our creativity".

Fast rising Music Video Director Chris Campbell more popularly known as Icey Jace was recently nominated in the "Director Avant-Garde" category at the 2nd Annual Cari Vibez Video Web Award based in New York. Campbell who is credited for his direction on a host of music video projects including QQ & Chedda's Cleanest, Ishawna's Legendary and Leftside & Mystic's Want Yuh Body Remix was amongst a total of 10 Directors nominated in the category. Among them was last years winner Jay Will along with Gareth Cobran of ID Studios, Kirk Lee (Road Block Films), I.am.the.Kritik (Kao.Arts), Janelle Dyer, Dexter "3D" Pottinger, Scorpio 21, Melissa Llewellyn and TD Films.

With a total of 9 Categories ranging from "Breakout Video Of The Year" and "Female\ Male Video Of The Year" to "International Video Of The Year" winners of the 2011 staging will be determined by online votes over a 30 day period which started on Jan 11th and will end on Feb 11th. At the end of the voting process the winner in each category will be presented with a Crystal Globe Tower 9 inches in height, 2.5 inches in width and 2 inches in diameter weighing in at approximately 5lb's.

Known for his outstanding Public Relations work in Jamaican Entertainment, Campbell began dabbling in video production during early 2009 when he founded Icey Jace Film Factory along with business partner Renesa "Lola B" Wright". Since then the Film Factory crew has shot a total of 8 music videos, 3 of which was shot in a 2 day time frame.

BUZz: ISHAWNA ONLINE PREMIER OF NEW VIDEO LEGENDARY

Reggae recording artist Ishawna recently released her blazing hot "Legendary" featured on the Badda Don Riddim by Yard Vybz Entertainment. According to Ishawna this new video is her reintroduction on the music scene. "Right now i'm feeling really motivated as an artist, I'm treating this Legendary video like its my first in that I want people who are not familiar with me or my music to experience it all with this project. I plan on really seeing this one through and as such we are kick starting our promotion ahead of the video release".


The new video was directed by Chris "Icey Jace" Campbell of Icey Jace Film Factory who has recently been raising eyebrows with his unique concepts and stunning visuals as a new director on the local scene.

Currently represented by Solid Agency Ishawna is surely coming into her own, look out for a host of new singles from the singer who is confidently delivering her sound across several different genres including reggae, pop, r&b and dancehall.
