BUZz: COUNTDOWN TO FULLYLOADED

Friday, July 30, 2010

With one week to go before the 2010 Staging of the Premium Summer Party Fullyloaded organizers of the event are ready to bring the capital city of Kingston alive on Friday August 6th.

According to Chris Campbell Promotions Manager for the event this years marks a new era in the shows development. "Fullyloaded means alot to us and year after year we have continued to stage easy the biggest and baddest party and this year we wanted to spread that experience with more people and so came the idea to bring it to the Old Coal Wharf in Port Royal. The venue is really unique in that it's fully paved unlike James Bond Beach and even Fort Clarence. Another change we have made is in how we present the show, patrons can come out this year to a party atmosphere with the top Sound Systems and Selectors bringing musical heaven to earth and then to top it all off we have our special international guest Ricky Blaze on the line up to perform alongside some of our own superstars.

Already the promotional flags of the show have been flying high with an aggressive campaign geared towards having a huge turnout. "As it stands we are happy with our promotions thus far, we are all over the radio airwaves, in the streets our fliers, posters and billboards cant be missed. We started our television roll out earlier this week and online we have a remarkable presence both on the social networks and popular entertainment websites who have been pushing our endorsements across the world, generating even more interest in the show so we are predicting the presents of foreign patrons as well".

Title Sponsored by Guinness, Campbell further stated that rain or shine patrons can expect a memorable experience. "This year we salute our wonderful Sponsors for coming on board, with Guinness being title sponsors we were able to achieve alot and we know rain or shine Fullyloaded 2010 will be an awesome show".

Tickets for the event are reasonably priced at $1000 pre-sold $1200 at the gate while V.I.P tickets range from $2500 to $3000 at the gate.  For those looking to purchase their tickets early they can do so at Total Gas Station in Liguanea, Harbour View, Boulevard and Ocho Rios, LG Service Station, General Food Supermarket, Music Mart in Twin Gate Plaza and the Morgans Harbour Hotel.

Saturday, July 4, 2009

It's official, new york based rapper Joseph Cartagena more popularly known as Fat Joe will be the international headliner for this years Fully Loaded Beach Party slated for Sunday July 26th at James Bond Beach in St. Mary.

In an abbreviated statement from Chris Campbell Publicist at Solid Agency organizers of the event Fat Joe has what it takes to please a Fullyloaded crowd. "Fully Loaded is an event that has alot of energy and excitement and when we began to shop for a headliner we wanted someone with a catalog who was experienced and relevant at the same time. Fat Joe is one such artist, he has been around for a while and still has a large following of fans. His most recent track "One" featuring Akon has gotten over 2 million views on youtube not to mention Joe's skill and creativity as a rapper".

Celebrating over a decade in the music industry Fat Joe was born in Bronx, New York and began his rapper career in the early 1990's. C.E.O of his own label Terror Squad which has produced young talents such as Remy Ma and Tony Sunshine, Joe has enjoyed an abundance of success in music.

In 1993 Fat Joe recorded his debut album "Represent" which introduced him to mainstream america but it was his fourth album "J.O.S.E" an acronym for Jealous Ones Still Envy that catapulted his career and earned him respect as one of New York's finest M.C's. The album featured the smash hits "We Thuggin" alongside R Kelly and the sensational Ashanti collabo "What's Luv" which incidentally made its way onto the Jawanna Man movie soundtrack.

From there Joe's career began to blossom as more and more artists wanted him to be featured on their songs. In 2004 Ja Rule reached out to Joe and fellow new yorker Jadakiss for his single New York which soon became an street anthem across ghetto communities in america. Joe was once again among the greats in 2007 when he was featured on DJ Khaled's smash singles "We Taking Over" and "I'm So Hood" which featured the best of the best including T.I, Lil Wayne, Akon and T Pain.

Outside of collaboration Fat Joe is noted for his own catalog of hits. In 2004 Fat Joe along with member of the Terror Squad team dropped their debut album "True Story" with a scorching hot single dubbed "Lean Back" which topped the Billboard Top 100 Charts for 3 consecutive weeks. Other singles like "Make It Rain", "My Fofo", "I Won't Tell" alongside J Holiday, "Ain't Saying Nothing" alongside Plies and more recently "One" alongside Akon have all made Fat Joe a household name across the world.
