BUZz: CAMAR RELEASE NEW VIDEO-JAMAICAN PARTY

Monday, July 26, 2010

Just in the nick of time, Beenie Man & Camar releases a hot new music video which was premiered on Entertainment Report (ER) on TVJ on Friday July 21, 2010. The video delivers a fresh & sizzling vibe that is hot & ready for the ATI / DREAM / PARADISE Weekend Celebrations to take place in Negril during the Emancipation & Independence weekends in Jamaica.

It's a "Jamaican Party" where Beenie Man & Camar sings about the Jamaican lifestyle of partying, from the beach, to the clubs, to the streets, "everyday is a holiday". Produced by Mario C & R. Smith of 357 Records, video directed by Janelle Dyer and edited by Willo, the video was a one day shoot at Waves Beach in Hellshire, Portmore and the exciting vibe of the song is clearly portrayed in the video.

The video uses beautiful & bright colors with lots of summer time activity such as girls in bikinis on the beach, beach volleyball and dominoes to name a few which are all favorite Jamaican past time activities. The talented Slip-N-Slide Records singer Camar who has exciting releases coming soon from Jam 2 Productions, will host the Miss Summer Body competition in Negril during the Paradise Weekend from August 5 to 8 at the Hedonism II Resort, displays his own summer body in the video while Beenie Man sings & displays his expensive "bling" and vehicle.

Overall, it is a wonderful video and vibe which Beenie Man ends with his single "Dancehall Nuh Dead yet" which is also produced by Mario C & R. Smith of 357 Records. The King of the Dancehall deejays about the state of the dancehall today, and despite his inability to recognize the beats these days, Dancehall is not dead as the likes of himself, Bounty Killer & Shabba Ranks to name a few are still alive and well.

Janelle Dyer and her team did an excellent job on this project and we look forward to more exciting jobs from her, but for now, all eyes are on Beenie Man & Camar "Jamaican Party / Dancehall Nuh Dead Yet" music video.

Camar's Pole techinician

Monday, May 4, 2009

KINGSTON, JAMAICA: On February 26, 2009, a song entitled "Pole Technician" was leaked onto the internet by an unknown source. The song is performed by Jamaican born international recording artiste CAMAR aka Flava Unit, which was produced by himself & JAM 2 Records. Females from all over the world started to record themselves dancing to the song and uploaded it to the internet to share with their friends. (visit the following link: http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=8A2FFD8E1E972C6A)

However, popular social networking website Facebook removed one of the videos from their website, claiming, "After reviewing the video, we (Facebook) have decided to remove it". This removal had enraged many members on Facebook's community as they were pleading that the video was in no way offensive nor pornographic as some photos that are posted and still being hosted on Facebook. This however did not stop the video recordings as fans turned to Youtube to share their videos, many of which have passed 2,000 views.

Since, popular internet blog ThisIs50.com featured CAMAR's "Born 2 Shine" mixtape on their website as a 'hot pick'. This comes at a time when there is an ongoing feud between rappers 50 Cent & Rick Ross who is Camar's label mate. "Pole Technician" has since then taken on local clubs and radio stations in Jamaica & Florida and is now ranked at #5 as of April 30, 2009 on B.L.E.S Monthly Top Ten Reggae Chart, topped by 1. Konshens "Young, Black & Powerful", 2. Dylan Dilinjah "Baddest Girl Around", 3. Voicemail f/ Busy Signal "Dance The Night Away", 4. Tarrus Riley & Konshens "Good Girl Gone Bad".

Is "Pole Technician" the new rage rising on the dancehall scene? This we will have to wait and see as Camar is currently in Jamaica doing appearances recently at YUSH on May 2, 2009 where he was constantly surrounded by ladies approaching him in support of "Pole Technician". Camar also made a cameo appearance in TIFA's "Spell It Out" music video which was shot on May 3, 2009. A "Pole Technician" performance is scheduled at Fiction Lounge on Thursday May 14, 2009 which promises to be explosive with ladies who have recorded themselves dancing to the song.

Camar is in the studio with Stephen Marley, Jam 2, Baby G plus new kids on the block IM L.O.U.D Music which recently released Raine Seville's "Really Over" single which is getting regular air play. With the way things are going right now, Pole Technician is set to take the world by storm. Download Song

Miami, Florida: Popular social networking website Facebook on Thursday February 27, 2009 removed one out of which are many uploaded videos of females slow whinin to a song by the name of "Pole Technician" which is performed by Jamaican "Yard Soul" artiste CAMAR, produced by himself and JAM 2. Apparently, the song was leaked onto the internet on February 25, 2009 and females have started to record themselves dancing to it and uploaded it to share and compete amongst other females to see who is the best "Pole Technician" dancer.

The removal of one of the videos by Facebook has not stopped females from recording themselves dancing. Some 'Pole Technicians' have turned to Youtube to upload their videos to share and compete. This is indeed turning out to be a global battle as females from Florida, New Jersey, New York, London and Kingston, Jamaica are dancing to 'Pole Technician'.

So is 'Pole Technician' the new phenomenon that is sweeping through and captivating the ladies? The way things are going right now, it would surely seem that way and we will just have to wait and see how far it will go. A search on Youtube for 'Pole Technician' will give some very interesting results of ladies dancing, those without a pole and some that improvised with their own pole.

The song was rated as a HOTTTTT new release on March 1, 2009 on an independent website: http://www.hotnewhiphop.com/. So from the look of things, this record "Pole Technician" is definitely a favourite with the ladies, a possible hit?
