Born Glen Stone on February 17th 1984 up and coming dancehall deejay Icecold grew up in the community of Mud Town. After leaving Clan Carthy High School the influences of the great Capleton, Bounty killer and Sizzla made him decide that a career in dancehall was his calling and so off he went perfecting his sound and melodies. First linking up with well known producer Godaffi manger for merciless, Icecold recorded his first tune a collab titled “Too Young” with Callaloo Man. He then met up with the Nemesis sound Crew from the uptown regions of Kingston, this link led to the introduction to remix king and producer Dj Karim (Stainless Music) in 2005 who describes icecold as “Icecold has a unique sound which can make it to the big leagues”.

Icecold has recorded a number of songs since linking up with Dj Karim of which two are available now on I-tunes on the dancehall episode vol.1 compilation on the stainless label. Other producers icecold has voiced for include Supahype, Don Corleone, Super Blaxxx and new comers Aleada who produced his latest single titled “Mek Money” which he is currently promoting, the track has a nice flowing melodious hook with to the point verses which also defines the style of this artist.
