Hot on the heels of his latest hit ‘Bill Again’, reggae icon Tony Rebel is preparing to film his newest music video. The single, aptly titled ”Alone” was produced by Rickman Warren for Jamplified Records on the Movements Riddim, which also features fellow Flames Productions artiste, Queen Ifrica and her hit song ‘Far Away’
Rebel’s “Bill Again” has been resonating with listeners battling rising costs amidst a global recession, and much like that single, the artist’s newest track entitled “Alone” illustrates another battle – one of the heart. In the song, Rebel – true to his name – rebels against the constraints of a damaged relationship and declares, “I like it alone! More than a miserable home…”
“It’s a song that people can feel” says Rebel of his upcoming single, “I always say the music must move the people. Whether it’s about economics or relationships or anything else… people must feel the music…and the music must move them. ”
The new video will be directed by Wayne Benjamin, the creative mastermind behind Ifrica’s ”Far Away” video, and is scheduled to begin production in April.
Tony Rebel’s “Alone” is available for download at iTunes and, as well as other major mp3 retailers. Fans can also check out the Movements Riddim at
